Ellie Drennan crowned victor of The Voice Australia 2015
A 16-year-old girl has become the youngest victor of Nine’s pop-talent show, The Voice.
The reaction to Drennan’s victory was mixed on social media, with many people preferring favourite Joe Moore, 24.
After winning the competition, Drennan thanked her coach Jessie J for her support throughout the season.
Upon hearing the life-changing news, a teary Ellie said, “I’m over the moon right now”.
“Thank you to all my friends and family and of course Jessie J for supporting me through this and always seeing the best in me”.
What can you say about the Final Results? Presenter Sonia Kruger & coaches Jessie J & Delta Goodrem have been taking part in a game of one-upmanship as they vyed for the spotlight in going down ensembles.
Drennan also regularly posted photos of herself and her coach on Instagram. “And you don’t come across 17-year-olds like that all the time, so it’s a very deserved win”. “Undecided, who knows”.

Drennan, the fourth ever victor of The Voice Australia, walks away with $100,000 cash, a recording contract with Universal Music and a auto. She will release a 10-track album on September 11.
Ricky Martin’s finalist Liam Maihi, 23, was sent packing first, followed by Joel and Benji Madden’s second finalist, NSW Central Coast teenager Nathan Hawes, 17.
