Elliott hurting, angry after loss

Ohio State (10-1, 6-1) managed just 132 yards against a rugged Spartans defense and lost for the first time to a Big Ten team in the regular season since Urban Meyer became coach four seasons ago.

From the preseason to the kickoff of its game against Ohio State on Saturday afternoon, MI State has been overlooked in the Big Ten Eastern Division despite losing its only game on a controversial call, while the Buckeyes have enjoyed all the attention. But I was more disappointed in Elliott’s comments like when he said he’s not coming back and that was his last game at Ohio State. “They weren’t. But we didn’t execute”.

It’s a good thing head coach Jim McElwain has a defense that is one of the best in the nation because the offense looks lost and in need of a few adrenaline and an offensive line that plays better – especially against the fast Seminoles defense. So, we squashed it as a team.
