Email controversy hurting Clinton among general election voters — CNN poll
There’s nearly nothing Donald Trump likes to talk about more than his steady rise in polls.
The Democratic front-runner runs about even with Bush, Fiorina, and Trump. Let’s take the safe route and say it is a little of both. But they also show a plateau, or perhaps a small decline.
Once again, the liberal media shows it bias.
At the same time, Trump was named by 40 percent as the most likely to win the New Hampshire Republican primary, with Bush second at 12 percent and Fiorina at 8 percent.
But there are some warning signs for Trump in the polls.
Winston found 14.6 percent of the CNN questions related to a candidate’s electability. Why do they like me? She told guest host Don Lemon: “You know, I have been blamed for almost everything”.
That’s how he measures political achievement.
The number of GOP voters that said they “would definitely not support” Trump is 29 percent. But Trump has slipped a little, and retired nerosurgeon Ben Carson isn’t far behind, with 17 percent. Twenty-eight percent of all voters and 39 percent of Republicans believe the former Hewlett-Packard chief executive won last week’s GOP debate at the Reagan Presidential Library.
Florida Atlantic University poll has Trump first, followed by Rubio and Bush.
After largely remaining silent following potshots by the notoriously aggressive Trump – he has called Rubio “overly ambitious”, “too young” and even bragged that he had better hair than the 44-year-old junior senator from Florida – Rubio is firing back. If Trump hangs with Bush until the primary, expect Jeb to win the split decision. The former Florida governor is proud to endorse his record, which is one that can’t be distorted by the Democrats when it comes to the general election.
And yet he has maintained altitude for weeks on end, refusing to crash and burn as almost everyone predicted. We didn’t hear about that in the news because it didn’t fit the perception of racist Trump voters. Chief strategist Curt Anderson said he thinks Republicans have structured the debates in a way to eliminate candidates the people deserve to see. It was just a flirtation.
Today, Kasich has three stops scheduled in South Carolina, including a session with the Greater Charleston Business Alliance/South Carolina African-American Chamber of Commerce and a town-hall gathering in Hilton Head. His poll numbers have gone down recently, and his allies in the field have reached a grand total of zero. He wants to have Mexico pay to build a wall and deport illegal immigrants.
