Emily MacDonagh: ‘Pete’s not a cheat’

But despite their happy marriage, it seems Peter Andre’s wife Emily MacDonagh isn’t going to completely rule out the possibility of her man cheating on her during his stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

Peter and Emily tied the knot in July after three years together.

While the popstar – partnered with pro Janette Manrara – is the hot favourite to win and topped the leaderboard at the weekend, he’s tackling his first ballroom dance this weekend.

She said: “I’ve met Janette and she’s great. I think we’ll all have a night out together soon”.

Though Emily, who is a doctor, has been advising Peter on what to eat to give him energy for the gruelling rehearsals, he admits he doesn’t always listen to her advice.

Janette added: “I definitely feel the pressure now, being on top of the leader-board I’m going to enjoy it for the week and see what happens next week”. Get a few fire in the loins.

On the night judge Bruno Tonioli said: “Fantastic”.

The so-called Curse of Strictly has hit a string of stars after the show began in 2004.

Dancers Pasha Kovalev and Kristina Rihanoff have both formed relationships with contestants on in the competition, with the latter falling for boxer Joe Calzaghe during his time on the show in 2009, though they ended their romance in 2013.

Russian Kristina is now dating former England rugby hunk Ben Cohen, 36, who is divorcing his wife of 12 years, Abby. Ben and Kristina were paired in the 2013 series. They revealed last September they were an item.
