Emirates scoops best airline at Skytrax awards
Emirates on Tuesday was named the world’s best airline at the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards 2016. Six years running is a real accolade and demonstrates Turkish Airlines’ continued commitment to the passenger satisfaction and development within the industry. The prize was given based on surveys of nearly 20 million travelers, Business Insider reports. The airline operates one of the world’s youngest modern wide-body fleets.

In third position was Singapore Airlines, also voted the Best Airline in Asia, while in fourth position it was Cathay Pacific Airways, who picked up the award for the Best First Class Lounge for its recently renovated facilities in Hong Kong.
