Emma Bunton clarifies Spice Girl’s reunion ‘not happening’
Along with being sighted dancing with her gal pal Candis Cayne, Caitlyn Jenner showed how great she could look on stage at a Spice Girls reunion concert at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles.
The former Spice Girls singer wants to stay in London for the sake of her career, but her husband David and their kids, Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12, Cruz, 10 and Harper, four, are keen to return to the US because they haven’t readjusted to life in the UK since returning two years ago. Beckham has been flying himself and their four kids back and forth with every chance they get, according to OK!
Mallis turned Beckham’s recent 92nd Street Y interview into a cover story for Douglas Elliman’s Elevate magazine and hosted a dinner Wednesday for the issue at the Standard Hotel. On an interview with Today Show, she said that the time has quickly passed.
The next move in the denial-counter-denial drama came when Emma told listeners of her Heart Breakfast radio show, “If anything happens and it’s concrete, and we decide on something, I will let you know”. “It’s in my plan, I don’t know about anybody else’s. But nothing’s happening at the moment”, she stated.
However, their reunion tour in 2008 ended prematurely after they cancelled the gigs in South America, South Africa and Asia.
Just last month, Mel C – who has enjoyed solo success and acclaimed stints in musical theatre – said: ‘There were rumours of an anniversary reunion in 2014 but they were not true. The upcoming 20 anniversary of the band’s first single, “Wannabe“, had definitely triggered a questions if the band is thinking of getting together again for a reunion tour.
‘I would like to think we will get our act together and do something spectacular to acknowledge our 20 years of Wannabe, ‘ she explained to the Daily Star.
