Emmerdale to reveal who shot Robert Sugden in special rewind episode tonight
EMMERDALE’s Michael Parr has been involved in another explosive storyline after his character Ross Barton was revealed as the gunman who shot Robert Sugden in last night’s episode.
There were a whole list of suspects who would have wanted Robert six feet under, from his estranged wife Chrissie (Louise Marwood) to his own brother Andy to Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) in retaliation for getting shot by him.
The instalment will take viewers back to the night that Hawley’s character Robert was shot four weeks ago, but two other secrets are set to be revealed too.
Andy was distraught after learning Robert was responsible for his wife Katie’s death and was determined Robert was going to pay for what he did.
“I’m going to shoot my brother”, he shouted. He killed Katie. He couldn’t face coming out as gay so he pushed her to the floor and left her there to die. “Thats’ how sick he is!”
Ross made a shock admission, telling Andy everything that happened with his brother Pete Barton.
To avoid being a suspect in the case, Andy checked himself into hospital claiming he’s “a danger to himself and to others”, cementing his alibi.
The huge revelation that Ross shot Robert was part of Emmerdale’s 43 birthday celebrations. Not only that, but he picked the gun up afterwards.
