Engineer creates Thor hammer replica that only the owner can lift using
Perhaps that’s how Thor’s hammer seems to many who’ve read about it in Marvel Comics or seen it in The Avengers and Thor films: it’s a magical object that only Thor can wield. He filled a microwave oven transformer electromagnet that uses electricity to produce a magnetic field inside the head of his Mjolnir.
Thor’s hammer Mjölnir is unique.
If anyone other than Pan tries to pick up the hammer, the fingerprint sensor will trigger the solid state relay to turn the magnets on.
The resulting magnetic pull is so strong that the hammer is impossible to lift when placed on any metal surface.
While Thor’s hammer possesses a few level of sentience, Pan’s cleverly uses a series of electromagnets that affix the hammer to metal surfaces unless they’re disabled via a fingerprint sensor.
However, if Pan tries to pick up the hammer, the fingerprint scanner will authenticate that it is him and the magnets will turn off, allowing him to lift the hammer immediately. Then it switches off again when he moves his thumb over the sensor, letting Pan to lift the hammer.
A rather resourceful YouTuber by the name of Allen Pan may not descend from Odin, but has proved that he has the magic touch when it comes to lifting Mjolnir.
Now he just has to find a way to make it call down the lightning and return to his hand when he throws it…
