Establishment Is Against Me, But Coming “On Line” To Stop “Nasty” Cruz
You might remember that, a few weeks back, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) was riding high in the Iowa Republican presidential polls when national frontrunner Donald Trump began to press the attack on Cruz’s eligibility to run for president based on his foreign birthplace.
“One of the reasons I like Ted Cruz so much, is that he’s not controversial”. Look, at a certain point, you have to make deals.
In the interview Trump touted his reputation as a dealmaker.
During a highly-anticipated speech at the Christian school Liberty University last week, Cruz’s close Iowa rival, Donald Trump, was widely mocked for referring to a New Testament book as “Two Corinthians”, rather than “Second Corinthians”, as it is commonly known.
“I think the establishment actually is against me but really coming on line”, Trump said Monday. “He’s now a very, very popular and important figure in all of our lives, and in this country’s life”, Trump said.
Simply put: if you want nothing to get done in Washington and you want the politicians to leave you alone then Hillary Clinton is the best option. Cruz has taken to slamming Trump as the establishment’s new hope, suggesting that those in the Washington power club are abandoning Florida Sen. Third is Marco Rubio.
