And he refused to hold back the joyful emotion of being able to soak-up the 3-0 victory as Chris Coleman’s side topped their group with a heroic showing just days after last-gasp defeat to England. To give kids the belief they can go out and play football.

The other section of the draw has really opened up which is why England’s failure to top their group is so disappointing.
