Europe Getting Splatoon and Mario Kart 8 Wii U Bundle

Nintendo of Europe has announced a Wii U bundle that includes two of the system’s biggest hits.

The Mario Kart 8 + Splatoon Wii U Premium Pack will launch across Europe from October 30th. Although, we must stress that Nintendo hasn’t officially given a price for the bundle at the time of writing. As per European pricing rules, no MSRP was given for the console.

To remind you, the pricier version of the machine comes with 32GB of memory and a black colour scheme, contrasting the 8GB and white tone offered by the Basic Wii U.

The Wii U makes an excellent second console due to its line-up of great first party titles, and this is epitomised in the forthcoming Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon double game console bundle. Splatoon has crossed 1.6 million copies sold worldwide and Mario Kart 8 is the system’s best selling game, with an attach rate of over 50%. But, I’d say that including the two Wii U exclusives presents more of a steal.
