Everton legend Ian Snodin due to attend Macmillan coffee morning in Wavertree
A Yeovil company led the way in kick-starting the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Everton FC legend Ian Snodin and comedian Pauline Daniels are expected to show their support at a Macmillan Coffee Morning event in Wavertree this morning.
There’s three within walking distance in Horndean as coffee mornings will begin at 9.30am, 10am and 11pm, respectively, at The Red Lion, Morrisons and RKDia catering.
Macmillan established the nationwide charity event in 1990.
We can’t wait to see all of your mouth-watering pictures! Our goal is to make sure no one faces cancer alone. “And because cancer affects more than just those facing it, we’re there for friends and family too”.
Labour AM Julie Morgan from Cardiff is holding her 15th Macmillan Coffee Morning today – and if you’re in the area you’re all welcome to join in!
Simon Hipgrave, Garador’s managing director, said: “There really was an wonderful selection, from coffee and walnut gateaux, to highly decorated sponges, and healthy fruit berry cup cakes”.
