Everything is supersized in big heavyweight title fight
Confidence was exhibited by each man, but there was no ultra macho one upsmanship, with tactics appropriate for a penitentiary.
The fight will be shown live on Sky Box Office on Saturday night.
I suspect that he succeeds at that for awhile, but that eventually, Joshua lands a big shot and we see that the 41 year old chin of Wladimir Klitschko can’t deal with the 27 year old punch of Anthony Joshua.
“He was at the press conference, and said ‘I’m going to have a book, man, explaining how to beat Anthony Joshua'”. Both HBO and Showtime broadcasts will only include the main event, with the rest of the card from Wembley Stadium available internationally.
The two heavyweights fight for the IBF title and vacant WBA belt in front of 90,000 fans at Wembley.
Joshua was speaking at a news conference at Sky HQ days before he is due to defend his world heavyweight title against the former champion Klitschko.
“It is a great contest between two Olympic gold medallists, two world heavyweight champions of the same size and condition”. I win. It will be just one more win on my record’. I’m not only prepared physically but mentally as well for any battle.
London-born Joshua, like Klitschko standing at 1.98 metres, described this weekend’s fight as a “stepping stone to greatness”. It’s very hard fight against as unpredictable a fighter as Fury – and Joshua, my personal opinion, is very good for Wladimir.

“I could have said I’m not ready, but no problem – I just embrace every opportunity”.
“Failure is without trying”.
“We took him to the world championships as a novice and he won them”. “It’s not complicated. Let’s not overthink it”.
“It’s Klitschko territory from the beginning (of the fight, not just the second half)”.
“Wladimir is a really, really nice person, a gentleman, very professional, very business-like when he comes to training camp”, he said. He’s much younger than his opponent who hasn’t had a fight since that title loss to Tyson Fury towards the end of 2015. “If he claims to be the better boxer so be it, but when I start punching you in your jaw, you best stand up to the power”.
“This is another stop”.
“You can’t deny it”.
He then got help for depression as his woes went from bad to worst that saw him use substances on some occasions in 2016.
“Absolutely, this is 110 percent a pivotal moment for boxing”. But I want to fight guys in the division who are good.
In a sweet snap alongside his mum on Instagram, Joshua wrote the parting caption: “See you on Sunday mum x”. “It’s a pretty fantastic fact”, he added. But I had 27 years nonstop of boxing (between the pros and amateurs). That’s what I thought.
“I’m the challenger again”.
The Ukrainian added: “I am the victor, already before the event”. I am obsessed. I am not kidding about that.
Though never a fan favorite, 20 years in the boxing ring have seen Wladimir Klitschko put together the strongest resume among active heavyweights, going undefeated for 11 years.
I practice boxing. Long range jab, jab to the body. I had those belts in my past fight, and I’m fighting for these belts in this fight. “And how the actual fight is going to be”, he said.
“Obsession is love in an extreme shape”.
“Defeat? I’ve been there, I’ve done that”. You can pick yourself up and come back if you have the will, which you have.
