Ex-Met Johnson likes New York’s formula

Why not just go out and win the damn thing, I believe they will which would be Amazin’. And no matter what the score is, no matter what the situation is, they grind it out and they just, they never die. The Royals trailed Toronto 11-4 in Game 3 of the ALCS yet scored four times in the ninth inning and forced the Jays to warm up their closer.

Yoenis Cespedes had to leave the Game 4 win against the Cubs with a shoulder issue, but the outfielder said that he will be ready to play in the World Series. As for now, it seems as if we will be calling the next playoff break-out a Murphy, but it is always fun to scan through the numbers.
