Ex-Stone Temple Pilots Frontman Weiland Dies at 48
While authorities have declined to confirm the cause of Weiland’s sudden death, social media has become abuzz with speculation as to whether drug addiction may have played a part in the singer dying.

Tommy Black, a band member of Scott Weiland and The Wildabouts has been arrested on drug charges after cocaine was found on the tour bus where bandmate Scott Weiland was found dead on Thursday. The Bloomington Police officers Department exposed in that upon their search they found a suspected controlled substance in that field tested as cocaine.
“There is no information at this time related to the cause of Weiland’s death”.

Last night, the 48-year-old frontman suffered a heart attack in his sleep while on tour in IN with his latest group, the Wildabouts.
Scott had battled substance abuse issues for years, admitting to using cocaine and alcohol as early as his teenage years when he was just starting up as a musician.
