Extradition hearing set for accused in Washington County triple-homicide
Henry had checked into a New Orleans hotel under his own name, and U.S. Marshals tracked him to that location, Sheriff Ed Graybeal reported.
Officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said they’ve added a Jonesborough man to the state’s Top 10 Most Wanted List after three people were found dead. He is charged with three counts of first-degree murder and is being held in the Orleans Parish Prison.
Henry is wanted by TBI and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to face murder charges in connection to a triple homicide.
Information has led investigators to believe Henry has fled the state of Tennessee, possibly for California. A $1,000 reward is being offered in the search for Henry.
The home at which the gruesome discovery was made is located in the 100 block of Skyline Road. She called 911 early Saturday to report Daniel Lee Henry told her he had killed his family.
According to Graybeal, all of the victims were “shot in the head”, but no weapon was found at the scene of the crime.
Henry was a frequent visitor to the Washington County Detention Center.
