Eyes in the sky: NORAD tracker follows Santa’s journey
According to St. Nick, he has been sitting in the Santa House at the corner of State Street and Second Avenue since the Gallipolis Christmas Parade earlier this month. Now Google’s Santa Tracker too keeps a close watch on Santa’s movements across the globe. We only had three or four pictures of him, and two of them were him playing Santa Claus.
Over the years, various media has adopted the Santa-tracking phenomena. This site gives more details into the ongoings of Santa and his toyshop to get kids’ even more excited for Christmas.
At least one radio station, or maybe more, would devote 15 minutes a day to an appearance by Santa Claus, who would read letters from children. The company says that its Santa Tracker app has an interesting countdown timer until the eve of Christmas, along with Santa’s scheduled travelling path worldwide and his exact location at the moment.
You will be able to follow his progress on desktop, mobile, tablet and Chromecast. Sleeping, he said, is essential to the magic of Christmas Eve.
NORAD’s Santa operations center opens at 4 a.m. MST on December 24.

NORAD coordinates with Santa’s Elf Launch Staff to confirm his launch time, but from that point on, Santa calls the shots. We do, however, know from history that it appears he arrives only when children are asleep!

On Christmas Eve, there will be a unusual object in the sky – that could easily be mistaken for Santa’s sleigh. It is wonderful that why the search giant has come out with Santa Tracker when there is already a very exciting Santa Tracker from NORAD.
