Ezekiel Elliott involved in Dallas bar fight
According to the Dallas Police Department, officers were dispatched to the bar around 9:40 p.m.
Dallas police have not reported the incident as one involving the National Football League player and Elliot was not in the bar when police responded to calls, according to reports.
#Cowboys front office source on Zeke Elliott & poss. suspension: “We don’t know what they are going to do”.
Missing the first two games of the season would essentially force quarterback Dak Prescott to carry an offense that saw major success last season with the two rookies leading the way.
Elliott received numerous honors during his tenure at Ohio State. Dallas also wants its backup running backs to participate on special teams, something Morris did for only three snaps last season.
In August of 2016 before a preseason game, Elliott was photographed inside a marijuana dispensary. “I don’t want to say anymore”. Caught on camera, Elliott exposed a woman’s breast at a St. Patrick’s Day parade.
No arrests were made and an investigation is still ongoing. He signed a one-year deal in free agency. Details were sketchy then as well about how long the three actually hung out and what went down.
Or perhaps Schefter’s information is inaccurate and Elliott won’t serve a suspension to start the 2017 season. A man, who reportedly appeared intoxicated, told cops that his nose was recently broken, but he couldn’t remember who punched him. The man was taken to a hospital for nonlife threatening injuries and no arrests were made and Elliott was not named on the police report. ESPN’s Adam Schefter has been reporting for several weeks Elliott’s camp is bracing for a “short” suspension, likely for one or two games.
