Facebook acquired MSQRD – which is a “masquerade” face-tracking and 3D face-placement app – in March. Several updates this year have added new features like streaming in Facebook Groups and Events, along with interactive elements like live reactions and filters.
Social networking giant Facebook has rolled out its enterprise offering – Facebook at Work – in India that will allow employees of an organisation to collaborate and connect with co-workers. Users will be able to invite a friend to join their broadcast.

Facebook has made a pre-announcement of its upcoming updates for Facebook Live at VidCon.
For billions of people around the globe, TV has been the main source of live entertainment, news, and sports. However, this is not the only initiative with which the company plans to improve user experience of its live service; it has a lot more packed in for its users.
Broadcasters typically wait for more users to go live before they begin talking; this causes many early viewers to just leave the video before the broadcaster even begins. Organizing a populated stream is also about to become easier, with waiting lobbies, where audience members will be able to gather while waiting for a scheduled stream. Users’ reaction to the “push vs. pull” mentality is probably the biggest reason those users have to pick one over the other, especially now that both video platforms have similar live mobile options.
