Facebook rolls out Pages Messaging to connect business, users

When someone clicks on the “Send Message” button in an ad, the Facebook Messenger window opens for them to write and send messages to the business.
Customers can also block private messages from businesses if they don’t wish to be contacted. A new “Message” option is available which opens up a private message thread with the customer and also publicly notes that the businesses has responded to the comment.
Announced immediately, Facebook’s changes are used to provide organizations on Facebook a better way during which to meet users.
This will be made possible by the addition of a “Message” option, in-line with the existing “Like” and “Reply”.
And those replies will be easier to put together than ever.
The social network believes that these new features will significantly boost the engagement between businesses and the Facebook users.
These saved responses will be fully editable and customisable, allowing admins to tailor a stock answer to suit a variety of questions.
There is no other badge that shows “unresponsive” Pages, so there won’t be any public shaming on Facebook’s part toward business that opt not to use this new feature.
Furthermore, the most responsive businesses will stand out in ways they haven’t before. Pages that respond to at least 90 percent of messages and have a median response time of less than five minutes will have a “very responsive” badge.
