Facebook website not working for some users

The outage, however, seemed to only last for a matter of minutes and the social networking site was soon back online after it went down.

The cause of the incident has not been revealed, and Facebook has not commented. They also expressed their disappointment via Twitter, with some even going desperate.

Social media giant Facebook looks to be having technical difficulties as the site has been issuing errors to some users.

Earlier this month, desktop and mobile users in North America, Europe and Asia already suffered a 20-minute outage. The outage is illustrated in the form of an error message that appears when users attempt to visit the website.

Facebook had no fast remark on the outage.

Instagram, the photo-sharing app owned by Facebook that recently announced it has passed 400 million users, appears to be working as normal. “We’re working with our core infrastructure teams to identify the issue and will update”, it said.
