Fall Out Boy rock band, Demi Lovato team for “Irresistible”
Demi, who’d previously fleshed out her feelings about the then-living Mr. Lovato in her “For the Love of a Daughter” song on her third album, Unbroken, had a strained relationship with her biological father following her parents’ divorce when she was two years old. Not only does she have an incredible voice, but she boldly speaks about her struggles with body image and proudly declares herself a feminist.
It’s no surprise these artists worked together given Fall Out Boy’s incredible live energy and Lovato’s powerhouse vocals.
Entertainment News Online reported that when the singer attended the Saturday Night Live after party in New York City, a fan approached her and asked her to autograph his copy of her nude photo. Check out the new version below! Iggy Azalea and Sirah feature on heavy-hitters Kingdom Come and Waiting for Ya, and there’s a mixture of ballads, bangers and everything in between.
Take the second single of the album, “Confident”, set it against “Cool for the Summer“, and I wince at the superiority the album titled track holds.
In fact, it’s the strongest on the album besides “Stone Cold”. “Listen to me, honey / I’ve got something new to say / I forgive, but can’t forget your mistakes / Now I think it’s time for you to pay”.
