Fallout Shelter May Launch on Android in August
That’s not exactly a hard confirmation of an August release (we need to wait for a Bethesda official for that), but at this point there’s no reason to assume it’s wrong. Naturally, many anxious Android users began asking the developer when they could expect an Android version of the game to be released.
That problem should be rectified soon if Bethesda‘s Pete Hines is correct.
It is not the first time a mobile game has been delayed for Android. “‘We’ll let you know when we have specifics”.
The company has been protective of “Fallout Shelter”, even going so far as to purposely delay its announcement until after a proper “Fallout 4” revelation to avoid a situation where the mobile game may receive negative publicity.
Fallout 4 director Todd Howard has previously said that Fallout Shelter is more aimed at bringing Fallout to a wider audience than generating money, despite the fact the game has been topping iOS charts in terms of both popularity and revenue. This means that you have to keep your residents happy and productive by managing every aspect of their lives, including where they work to maintain the facilities of the Vault, when they go to and from the Wasteland in search of weapons and armor, and even their love life. Fallout Shelter is already the third-biggest revenue-making game in the App Store, just behind Clash of Clans and Game of War.
Will you be buying any lunchboxes for Fallout Shelter this weekend?
