Family Asked To Leave Theatre When They Refused To Stand Up For
The crowd accuse the Muslim family of making excuses for not standing up when the national anthem was playing.
A tweet said, ” Muslim family asked to leave PVR theatre Since they refused to stand for the National Anthem”. The video was titled “Muslim Family threw out of the cinema hall” where people were threatening the family and the whole theatre was clapping when the family was asked to leave by the management. The video clip shows an argument between few people and the family.
According to the police officials, the incident took place during the late night show at PVR Cinema at Phoenix Market City in Kurla, which falls under the jurisdiction of Ghatkopar police station.
This video which was posted on social media platforms like Facebook and Whatsapp was liked and shared over 2,500 times.
In the video it is seen that the audience members break into applause once the family leaves the theatre. Though the authenticity of the video’s location is not verified, some reports say it is from Mumbai, others say it is from Bengaluru.
