Family feud overshadows funeral for Whitney Houston’s daughter
Her father, Bobby Brown, was joined by family and friends to mourn his only daughter with the pop legend Houston, and he led the emotional tributes during the service. In the middle of the service, Brown’s aunt, Leolah Brown, walked over to the media gathered outside the church and said she had just been kicked out for shouting at Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law. She was the only daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.
The BBC reports that an “outburst” marred the events, with Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, Leolah, leaving the service after another relative, Pat Houston, began speaking. At the request of both families, no media or cameras were permitted inside of the funeral and security tightly monitored attendees as they arrived.
And although he did not speak Bobby Brown wrote in the funeral program: “I also will always love you” – while a gospel choir the same song that was penned by Whitney Houston.
In 2014, Bobbi Kristina responded to a tweet asking why Houston filed a restraining order against Nick Gordon.
Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend Nick Gordon had not been invited to attend the funeral, despite making an emotional plea to Bobby Brown to allow him to say a final goodbye.
Bobbi Kristina’s remains are expected to be interred alongside those of her mother on Monday, August 3, in New Jersey.

Experts have also said the months that have passed since Brown was found facedown in a bathtub are working against authorities now tasked with solving how she died. Pat is the executor of Whitney Houston’s estate and was responsible for overseeing the transfer of Bobbi Kristina’s inheritance; she was Whitney’s sole heir.
The Browns, on the other hand, patiently waited in their cars until the Houstons left before entering the funeral home to pay their respects.
Houston and Brown were married 15 years.
Summing up the feeling of Bobbi Kristina’s devastated family on Tuesday Tyler posted a sad tweet simply saying: “I’m a writer with no words…”
