Nyong’o was only told Abrams was working on a “big movie”, and didn’t even get to read from the Star Wars script during the audition, only reading substitute pages from a different screenplay instead. It was a series of stories inspired by and paying tribute to a childhood love of other stories.
London Star Wars fans started gathering early on Wednesday (December 16) in the heart of Britain’s capital to see their favourite stars walk the red carpet ahead of the “The Force Awakens” premiere.

Abrams to call on the creator of Broadway hit Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda. The movie opens everywhere Thursday night. “What is really interesting is that this film takes place after Return of the Jedi”.
