Fantasy Football Week 3 Quarterback Rankings: Top 5 Quarterbacks to Start

The Carolina defense has averaged 12.5 FanDuel points in the first two games of the season and this week they get to face a struggling offense that is without their future Hall of Fame quarterback under center. His matchup against the Bills is an ugly one, and Buffalo, angry after getting embarrassed by Tommy Boy in Week 2, is ready to take that frustration out on somebody. Tannehill threw for 359 yards and two touchdowns against Jacksonville. Rawls may not have another game this season with even 10 carries, let alone 16. Andy – ISAIAH CROWELL ($19) gets the Raiders at home, and he’s coming off a sneaky-good game (15-72-1).

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers, $8,000 – The thought of spending this kind of money on a quarterback might make you queasy, but Rodgers is just about as automatic as it comes from the position, especially from a fantasy perspective. Ummm, stacked boxes? Forte may catch upwards of 6-7 passes, but anticipate modest yardage overall.

Love him or hate him, Tom Brady is back on top of the National Football League world, ladies and gentleman. However, they’ll be facing a Dallas Cowboys team starting Brandon Weeden at QB, and without the services of WR Dez Bryant (foot). Considering the QB’s that have faced the Packers so far, it isn’t hard to envision Smith putting up the best game so far, as the Chiefs look to work Kelce and Maclin more into the gameplan to take a little bit of a load off of Charles.

Still not sold on Travis Benjamin yet? In fact, he is the only Viking with a receiving touchdown. Edelman has been money in PPR leagues so far this year and against a Jaguars defense that has trouble covering slot receiver types expect his streak of big games to continue.

His athleticism makes him an a challenge to cover in the middle of the field, so T.J. Ward will have his work cut out or him in this one. Rex Ryan said after the game that McCoy is nowhere near 100%, and there is a few belief that he might need to sit for a game or two before he’s all the way back.

RB Le’Veon Bell, Steelers: at Rams, $7,500 – Bell’s first game back from suspension should see him get a ton of touches against a Rams defense which has been run over by opposing running backs.

The Patriots have found a replacement for Shane Vereen in Dion Lewis, and proved that by rushing for 40 yards and a score on just seven carries and hauling in six passes for 98 yards. Just keep in mind to have a short memory in these circumstances.

DeMarco Murray, PHI, at New York Jets: Murray is expected to play this week after “tweaking” his hamstring in practice Wednesday, according to coach Chip Kelly. Johnson has looked pretty darn good whenever the ball is in his hands. With an electric return-man in rookie Tyler Lockett, this has the making of a big fantasy day. We know now that Drew Brees has an injured shoulder and the Saints are just not that good.

Depending on the scoring settings in your league, if you started Roethlisberger last weekend, chances are he earned you around 30 points in a Yahoo!
