FBI Closes Brad Pitt Child Abuse Investigation, No Charges
After claims of child abuse, the “Allied” actor has been in the middle of a child abuse investigation from the LA County Department of Child And Family Services along with the FBI.
Laura Eimiller, the FBI’s spokeswoman for its Los Angeles office, issued a brief statement and said no charges were filed.
The FBI has closed its review regarding allegations made about Brad Pitt and an incident involving his children on an airplane, the agency said on Tuesday.
The actress had a more carefree approach to her kids while Brad was anxious that they lacked the discipline, rules and stability that he grew up with as a child. Pitt’s attorney has not responded to Romper’s request for comment regarding the allegations in Jolie’s divorce request. The two have since reached a custody arrangement granting Ms. Jolie sole custody of their children but permitting “therapeutic visits” to Mr. Pitt, AP reported.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are preparing to divide their assets and settle their custody battle, but will the 52-year old soon bring Jolie’s psych records to court? Jolie reportedly sat for a four-hour interview at her Los Angeles home with the Federal Bureau of Investigation last month, and other potential witnesses were also questioned, according to US Weekly.
Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox are all biological children of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
As previously reported, Pitt and Jolie continue to share legal custody while the Maleficent actress has temporary physical custody.
Originally, the accusations alleged that Pitt was verbally and physically hostile towards Maddox while mother Angelina Jolie was onboard.
“Brad’s incredibly apprehensive about the thought of meeting Angelina face-to-face”, a source told the magazine, before adding: “For the time being, he’s willing to lay down his sword”.
