Feast your eyes on some Transformers Devastation gameplay

Activision have shared a new trailer for Transformers: Devastation, the upcoming Transformers brawler being developed by PlatinumGames. The nefarious Megatron and his army of Decepticons are up to their old tricks, and only five Autobots are in a position to stop them: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Wheeljack, Sideswipe and Grimlock. Players will be given the opportunity to change their playable character through various moments in the game, in case you get an itch to play as Ratchet or anyone else besides Optimus Prime. Unlike the laundry list of Transformers games of years past, this title is being made by a studio with a strong track record, especially when it comes to gameplay.

TRANSFORMERS: Devastation brings Hasbro’s converting robot titans to life with classic Generations styling and modern attitude.

Transformers: Devastation is now in the works for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.

I’m not sure I’m entirely sold on this, but Platinum can make great action games.
