Few showers tonight, cooler weather through the weekend
Clouds and light showers look possible Friday night with skies quickly clearing Saturday morning. “The rain showers will come to an end between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Forecast rain totals for Wednesday are between 0.50-0.80”.
Sunday should be partly cloudy, with highs near 40° (5° Celsius). Clouds are now filtering in each hour as our next storm system approaches.
Showers are likely Tuesday night, with lows in the upper 40s (9° Celsius). Highs only in the upper 30s (4° Celsius), but the wind will make it feel like 20s (-4° Celsius) all day.
The best chance of steady rain will move west to east after 4 PM.
NEXT SOAKER: Thursday our next system brings more widespread rainfall.
The first batch of rain will be on the leading edge of a warm front moving north this morning. The day will stay mostly cloudy with highs in the middle 40s. The coldest air yet this season will follow the front with highs on Saturday only in the mid 40s.
WEEKEND COOLING: Chillier air slides into the region for the weekend. It’s a seasonable day, with highs in the lower to middle 50s. Our next system moves through as well. This will help hold temperatures to the 50s for lows. Please remain aware of your weather surrounding during the pre-dawn to early morning hours. As a matter of fact, many of us will be stuck in the 40s on Sunday.
Have a great night!
