Film by Karisma Kapoor’s daughter screened at ICFFI fest
The fifth generation of the Kapoor family is all set to take a leap into the film world, donning not one but multiple hats.
The sister duo of Karisma and Kareena Kapoor attended Day 2 of the ongoing worldwide Children’s Film Festival of India (ICFFI) which is being held in Hyderabad.
Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim and Shekhar Kapur’s daughter Kaveri Kapur are additionally a part of the artistic group of the movie made two years in the past. She is a keen filmmaker and films shorts around the house all the time.
Karisma Kapoor and her sister Kareena Kapoor together with Samaira watched the film at Prasad Imax. The three children were involved behind the scenes of the film – where Karisma’s daughter Samaira was the cinematographer, Ibrahim was part of the creative team while Kaveri has worked on the script and handled the production.
The actress said more than filmmaking or anything, it was the moral of the story which was lovely.
Be Happy is about a young girl who is disappointed about not being able to afford things that other kids her age have and how, when she meets someone less fortunate than her, realises how privileged she is. Hence, it was no surprise to see the proud mother Karisma and aunt Kareena fly down for the festival to support their little star.
Asked what she would really like her daughter to develop into, Karisma stated they might help her in turning into no matter she chooses.
