Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Possibly Locked At 30 FPS On PC

The PC port of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is looking to be the definitive one. Those who pre-order the PC version will also receive an interesting collection of extra goodies which include a ten percent discount, an exclusive in-game loading screen and a pair of in-game items for “Dota 2”: a Master Chocobo courier and a Class Zero Moogle ward.

Square Enix has made the Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae 2.0 patch free for everyone. I’ll be honest here and link my review of the PS4 version of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD from earlier this year for two honest reasons: shameless self promotion and to reiterate my feelings about the game. According to Mr. Nomura Final Fantasy 7 Remake combat system will feature some dramatic changes but at the same time it will still be recognizable. It might look better, since it’ll have improved resolution options if your rig can handle it, and you can adjust the motion blur. There will of course be controller support, but PC gamers will want to temper their expectations in terms of the graphics as this was once a PSP game.

Final Fantasy XV skipped E3 in favor of Gamescom, where the game is expected to have a major showing. As of press time, they haven’t revealed yet Final Fantasy XV’s release date, but expect to know more information about it at the upcoming Gamescom 2015. However, no PC version of the game has ever been announced, so it’s unclear as to whether Final Fantasy fans will ever see the new game on their monstrous rig. The game will also be even bloodier than the game’s first release, with the inclusion of “increased blood levels”.
