FINALLY Instagram Lets You Zoom In On Photos and Videos
As we all know that an Instagram image can’t be zoomed in and out, it’s really annoying for users. The zoom update for Android users will arrive within a few weeks.
In any case, it’s nice to see arguably the most basic of photo browsing features show up in Instagram, six years after it launched.
Instagram has been undergoing series of changes aimed at giving its users the best photo-sharing experience. Today, it introduces another addition to close out the month: a ZOOM feature. The new zoom feature will work with video as well as photos and covers Explore, others’ profiles as well as users’ feeds. Now this is an update I can get behind.
Instagram’s latest update to its iOS app adds the ability to pinch-to-zoom on photos and videos, a feature long requested by iPhone users. The company is now changing that, with the announcement that it’s rolling out pinch-to-zoom support on its iOS app as of today. Zoom is available on iOS and coming to Android soon.
‘And as things change, we’re still focused on improving the core parts on Instagram’. Unfortunately you can’t “like” an image or post a public comment. You can download Instagram from the App Store for free.
The zoom function is not entirely flawless, and given Instagram’s 1080px limit, ultra HD resolution photos and videos are not supported.
Options to add text and draw using a variety of colours, including some exciting neon colours, are also available.
