Finally Karan Johar Opens Up About The KRK’s ‘Shivaay’ and ‘ADHM’ Controversy
“Ajay Devgn and Kumar Mangat have done all of this because when their film “Son Of Sardaar” clashed with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan, ‘ the entire industry requested him to push the release date but Ajay didn’t budge”.
In the latest B-Town fight, actor Ajaya Devgn and director Karan Johar have engaged in an all out war over a controversial audio tape in which Kamaal R Khan (KRK) is heard receiving money from the director for bad mouthing “Shivaay”. On Twitter, KRK has dismissed Ajay’s film as ‘Himmatwala 2, ‘ a reference to the flop film he starred in a couple of years ago. Both the movies carry different story lines; Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is an unrequited love story featuring Ranbeer Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan. He said that why would of all the people, Karan Johar would pay him any money to promote a film.
KRK, at the press conference, then reportedly attacked Ajay Devgn’s claim of having an “emotional connect” with the industry, as per the actor’s official statement.
Though this goodwill gesture by Rishi Ji is a welcome change, we hope more industry people stand unanimously in the support of both the films, ADHM & Shivaay.
No Investigation might be necessary because KRK himself soon posted a tweet saying that he made up the bit about being paid by KJo. KRK even mentioned in the conversation that Ajay Devgn even dont reply for KRK messages. He also went on to say that Devgn has no emotional attachment with the industry and is just using him as a scapegoat to seek publicity for himself and his film.
A few days back, Ajay shared an audio on Twitter in which KRK is heard explaining why he is favouring Karan. “Our legal team is looking into the matter and we will do as the team suggest (to file FIR or send legal notice)”, added Kumar Mangat. But seems Ajay was miffed with KRK’s constant bad-mouthing of “Shivaay” and wanted to take a step.
Refuting reports about taking money from Karan, KRK said, “I have never said that I don’t take money to promote films”. “Let me clear it”, he said. You have heard what I have heard. Its his word against his own word.
