They had a really competitive match where each man got many believable near-falls and the crowd was into it the whole way. Styles-Cena has a chance to write a solid ending. Just last summer, until Rollins was injured in the fall, we were on a six-month quest with Rollins as heel champion.

The kickoff show will have three matches for fans.

From a booking perspective, the right guy won. AJ Styles entered and bragged about beating up John Cena, then mocked Ziggler. If Styles wins, he faces Ambrose at Backlash for the world title. Seth Rollins, John Cena, Randy Orton and others started dropping like flys.

It was about this time a year ago that the injury bug plagued WWE. It would set up a potential money rematch between Balor, who never lost the belt, and Rollins at an upcoming pay-per-view.

I would’ve found a way to have 10 matches – eight on the main show and two on the kickoff show.
