Fire Emblem Fates Gets Special Edition New 3DS XL
Fans of the Fire Emblem series will be excited to know of a Fire Emblem Fates Edition New 3DS XL being released on February 19th. The New Nintendo 3DS XL specifically tailored for Fire Emblem Fates, unfortunately, does not actually come with the game itself.
As previously announced, Fire Emblem Fates will be available in Birthright and Conquest versions in North America on February 19, each available for $39.99. Hmmm, commonly occurring themes across humankind over the years, don’t you think so? And in Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest, a misguided kingdom must be changed from within.
I’m not sure if Nintendo is still getting used to DLC or that these games are just brimming with content, Fire Emblem Fates looks like a pricey endeavor. Players also have the option to download a copy of Birthright/Conquest digitally for $19.99 if they own one already. The New 3DS XL system will cost $199.99. “Players can choose to buy each of these maps individually, or purchase Map Pack 1 for $17.99 to get access to them all at a discount once they are released”. The Collector’s Edition includes the massive game, a 10-song original soundtrack and gorgeous 250-page deluxe art book.
“Due to the popularity of “Fire Emblem”, we quickly reached our allocation on this Special Edition after reservations were first turned on”, the notice detailed as posted by Reddit user mydpy via Imgur.
