First day of fall will still feel like summer
Better chances this weekend? Monday will feature more cloudy skies, with some intervals of sun depending on your location.
Tonight: Partly cloudy and dry.
Weekend: Partly to mostly sunny and seasonably cool. Amounts are probably light but an occasional model does try to bring us more substantial totals.
Today: Clouds and a touch of rain or some drizzle for a while in the morning, then a few sunny breaks later. Lows: 42-48. Winds: N/NE 2-10 miles per hour. The average high temperature for this time of year is around the upper 60s to lower 70s, so we will be running above average.
For related traffic news, check out Dr. Gridlock. As the low pushes northeast into Sunday, we’ll likely see more rain, at least through the early to mid part of the day.
Good Thursday. Today will be warm and pleasant once again with our high climbing to 83.
Friday will be cloudy all day.
Tomorrow night: A almost full moon only sporadically peeks through clouds that scuttle through with regularity. We have to watch the potential for some heavy rain, especially south around Washington D.C. and Baltimore, but some of that could drift our way.
