First footage from Game Of Thrones season six shows emotional Daenerys

Amongst the sneak-peeks (which included Kerry Washington in Confirmation and the new season of Girls) was a few seconds of GoT’s much anticipated sixth season for the first time (GoT’s season 6 trailer premiered last week but had no new footage to see).

Ladies and gentlemen, Game of Thrones’ Daenerys has landed.

“Game of Thrones” was featured several times with a few old shots and a short 3-second clip of new footage among the montage of shows and movies.

Season six of Game Of Thrones will begin on HBO in April.

First, we see Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), who is badly in need of a brush and also probably a hug.

The third character teased by HBO in the video is Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon).

Still in the garb she was wearing when she flew from the fighting pits on her dragon, Drogon, Daenerys doesn’t look like she’s out of the woods regarding her current situation…AKA being surrounded by a hoard of Dothraki. Next, is a shot of Ramsay Bolton on horseback.

Finally, there’s Cersei Lannister.

No doubt the question surrounding the series the most is whether or not beloved character Jon Snow, played by Kit Harrington, is really dead and that was predictably not answered in this promotional clip.

Fans were shocked at the season five finale when Cersei was stripped naked and forced to do a walk of shame through the city whilst onlookers pelted her with rotten vegetables.
