Garry Mauro, head of the Clinton delegation for Texas, called Michelle Obama’s speech “stunningly good”. She’s been a reluctant campaigner in the past, and a Clinton campaign spokesman says they’re eager to have her on the trail “as her schedule permits”. John McCain, the 2008 Republican presidential nominee.
President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will both be on hand to make their case for Clinton – potentially overshadowing the rest of the evening’s roster.
