First lady is animated guest star on ‘Doc McStuffins’ show

First Lady Michelle Obama is going animated for Doc McStuffins, appearing in an upcoming episode for the award-winning Disney Junior show.

The First Lady will star as herself in the episode, “Doc McStuffins Goes to Washington”, where she will “honor” Doc McStuffins and other kids in the country who are making a difference in the world.

First Lady Michelle Obama is ready to prove she can be fierce even as a cartoon. The special episode is scheduled to air on Monday, October 5, which is also Child Health Day.

The episode incorporates key messages surrounding the First Lady’s Let’s Move! healthy eating and excercise initiative, according to Disney channel officials.

The Doc is in – the White House.

Last November, the First Lady hosted military families at The White House for a private screening of a special Veterans Day episode of Doc McStuffins.

Parents will probably be familiar with “Doc McStuffins, ‘ the hit animated children’s television series that’s been airing since 2012 on the Disney Channel and Disney Junior”.
