First Look at Gameplay from Metal Gear Survive
You can combine the Fulton Canon, as seen in Metal Gear Online, with animals to act as live bait for the zombies to swarm around.
Revealed at gamescom 2016, and greeted with a certain perplexity, Metal Gear Survive was presented in detail at the TGS 2016.
Metal Gear Survive is the first new Metal Gear game that is being developed after Kojima’s departure.
Konami has released the first gameplay footage for the upcoming Metal Gear game featuring 4 player co-op. Watch the official trailer below. Metal Gear Survive takes place in an alternative timeline from the Metal Gear Solid V universe after a team of Mother Base soldiers were swallowed up by a wormhole. A part of the fan base was disgruntled with the lack of explanation for the gravitational abnormalities, but we suppose every game has its plot holes. It remains to be seen if the experience, which is all about cooperation, will be up to the mark. A cool new weapon comes in form of a bow and arrow with a spinning arrowhead, while the unsafe creatures seem to be some sort of human-zombie-unicorn hybrid. Instead of a price around $60, it will be in the vicinity of what “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” cost during its release which was $30.
Metal Gear Survive is still slated for release at some point in 2017, marking the very first Metal Gear title to be released by Konami since the departure of series creator Hideo Kojima late past year.
