First Pics of Britney Spears on ‘Jane the Virgin’ Set Arrive

One way the show manages to stay grounded is by channeling some of its wilder moments into dream sequences, much like what stars Gina Rodriguez and Jaime Camil visualized for Mateo’s lullaby.

Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez got to dance with her favourite pop diva Britney Spears during the upcoming season of The CW series. “And I just think the actors have a real nice spontaneity when they’re playing the scripts, because in life you don’t know what’s coming next”.

Rodriguez told of a photo, “I swear I go back to that freaking picture so often ’cause I’m like, This happened!'”

Urman also felt eager to “wrap up a lot of stuff early on so that we could embark on fresh drama”. “All I can say is that it’s crazy!”

During the Season 1 finale, Jane finally gave birth to a baby boy named Mateo, but her newborn was suddenly kidnapped by Sin Rostro. “There’s going to be twists and turns along that path, but [the wedding] is what we’ll build to eventually”.

Jane the Virgin premiered in 2014, and will return for a second season October12. “She loves the show, that’s how (it) actually ended up happening”.
