First Trailer For Melissa McCarthy’s New Comedy ‘The Boss’
It was a character that McCarthy came up with when she was a member of the comedy troupe the Groundlings over a decade ago. But, I’m a fan of McCarthy’s comedies, so I’m still looking forward to seeing this one. Still The Boss looks like a glossier affair, and who doesn’t want to see McCarthy fighting with a whole group of young girls. Not as in Bruce Springsteen, but as in the epitome of every awful, shady, ruthless corporate boss that sank the economy.
In the flick, McCarthy starts out as the 47th wealthiest woman in the world, but soon goes away for insider trading and faces bankruptcy. Now McCarthy takes on a new role in “The Boss” and the latest trailer shows she has taken on yet another guise, and one that makes her nearly unrecognisable.

The supporting players are good too – everyone like Kristen Bell and Peter Dinklage is also set to show up, as well as Kristen Schaal.
“Academy Award-nominated star Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids, The Heat, Tammy) headlines The Boss as a titan of industry who is sent to prison after she’s caught insider trading”.
