Fitoor Vs Sanam Re First Monday Collection

As the budget of the film was too high hence such low collection would always make things bad for Fitoor, which is not the case with Sanam Re.

The film had a good day 1 (Friday) number of Rs. 5.04 crore.

This valentine season had two movies which certainly include Fitoor. Bhaumik Ghondalia, Rakul Preet Singh, Himansh Kohli, Nicole Faria, Shreyas Porus and Ankit Sharma played the lead roles in the movie which is said to be a youthful entertainer. Fitoor starrer Katrina Kaif and Aditya has actively participated in promotions.

Bollywood movie Sanam Re, which is directed by Divya Khosla Kumar, starring Pulkit and Yami Gautam.

The film, which stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Katrina Kaif and Tabu, has proved disappointing in its opening weekend.

Ryan Reynolds starrer “Deadpool” box office collections are at Rs 14.25 crore in the opening weekend.

“Fitoor” is based on Charles Dickens” novel “Great Expectations’ and is the love story of a poor boy and a rich girl. This film has also received mixed reviews from critics due to its slow storyline. While on Weekends it grew something better as on Saturday it covered Rs. 4.54 cr. and on Valentines Day i.e. on Sunday it covered Rs. 5.96 cr. With its opening weekend of Rs 21.2 crore, the film just about managed to stay afloat through rest of the week to collect Rs 33.1 crore in its first week.

On day one, the film collected Rs 3.50 crore net approx. (Rs 22 million). So the total collection is Rs 15.85 crore net approx.

The film has only brought in around Rs 7 crore in a matter of two days (Friday and Saturday), DNA India reported. With earnings of Rs 18 cr over the weekend the film has already earned a profit of Rs 14 crore.
