Five ways Microsoft just made the Xbox One a lot more attractive

PS4 has once again been outselling Xbox One in the US, and remains a distant leader on the world stage, but perhaps Microsoft’s recent announcement might give Redmond a much needed boost. There’s one exception though, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night gets support, but this title won’t be released before 2017. They can be used for quick access to screenshots, gameplay recording and other features. The trailer also said that using Microsoft’s cloud could help provide “20 times more computational power” compared to using just the Xbox One. In conjunction with the recently released Xbox One TV tuner, users will be able to record live TV from the broadcast networks and stream the content to mobile devices. If you have 300GB of space left on your internal drive and you record 100GB of in-game clips on it for example, how is that different to recording 100GB of video via DVR?

At Gamescom, Microsoft announced that a DVR feature would be added to the Xbox One in the near future. Coming this for Xbox One and Windows 10, the new Chatpad is available for pre-order today.

Thanks to Window 10 anything recorded can be punted out to Windows 10 devices like consoles and tablets elsewhere in the home.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) announced that Xbox 360 games will soon be offered with backward compatibility for Xbox One at the E3 conference 2015.

The third is the new TV DVR feature, which is set to come to the console in 2016.

As part of a limited edition Halo 5: Guardians bundle, the new model sports a finish and design based on the game’s new Spartan, Locke – and the same goes for the packed-in controller.

To encourage this, games that will be coming to PC will include games that were once console exclusives, including Gears of War, Fable, Killer Instinct and Minecraft.

It seems Xbox 360 wasn’t forgotten by Microsoft entirely.

In March, Xbox 360 also received a huge update where Xbox 360 gamers who have yet to upgrade to Xbox One could already start building their Xbox One games library.
