Flaming arrow hits ‘America’s Got Talent’ performer’s neck
Stock can be seen quickly brushing the arrow away before removing the funnel from his throat and doubling over in pain.
Tonight’s final act are the quick-change artists Sos and Victoria whose performance received divided reviews: the women still liked the act, but Simon said the two were annoying and Howie felt that the performance was not their best.
In a live television mishap, Walker missed and viewers and the show’s judges – Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel – horrifically watched as Stock was hit in the neck. “I think what you do is wonderfully horrific but that’s the first time you missed. We always kid that they need to make it more unsafe, but then this happens”, Cowell said. “You know we have to be responsible here”.
Host Nick Cannon later confirmed that Stock received medical help immediately after the accident and is doing fine.
Fortunately, the duo managed to remain on the stage and talk to the judges.
Just last week, Terri revealed that Simon’s son is so taken by his daughter than he refers to her as his “girlfriend” when they meet up.
“We had a very serious mishap”, Stock added, “[one] that was an unfortunate mechanic failure, but I am very fortunate to walk away from it”. If they had been performing at a show that wasn’t on live TV, Stock said, they probably would have just tried to stunt again to get it right.
A misguided flaming arrow interrupted the quarterfinals of America’s Got Talent, a network reality program comprised of Branson-friendly variety acts.
“I’m very conscious that the kids who audition for AGT want to be there, they’re not being pushed into it, and that they’re having a great day out, otherwise we wouldn’t see them”.
America’s Got Talent dazzles viewers with death-defying acts that are rarely unsuccessful, but on Tuesday night’s show, one man survived what could have been a fatal error.
