Flash Flood Watch In Effect For Parts Of Md

Land slides are possible in areas of steep terrain. Not all coastal areas may be impacted by runoff.

Parts of Oahu got hit with wet weather Tuesday.

Central Oahu saw some rain as well.

There is a slight chance of showers before 2 p.m. on Friday, which will otherwise be mostly sunny with a high near 81 and low around 62.

Emergency officials say they’re monitoring conditions closely.

A brown water advisory was issued for Hanalei Bay on Kauai after heavy rains brought storm water runoff into coastal waters.

There is also a 5 to 10 percent of “potentially serious flash flooding” that would cause streams to jump their banks and wash out roads.

“Any thunderstorm will be capable of putting down more than an inch of rain in a short amount of time”, the weather service said.
