Flash flood watch posted for central and western Wyoming | News
Flash flood warnings are in effect across Oklahoma as a slow-moving storm system drops heavy rain across the state. Residents were asked to avoid all areas affected by the Lake Fire.
In northeast Indiana, only LaGrange and Steuben counties were not included in the watch area.
Scattered storms will continue through Wednesday morning.
Low-lying areas or places with poor drainage are vulnerable to flash flooding, the Weather Service said, along with smaller creeks and streams.
The Tulsa metro should expect highs today in the upper 70s with Wednesday afternoon highs near 78 to 83. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 9 miles per hour in the afternoon. Heavy rain is also possible with up to one inch in spots by this evening.
There’s a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms for Tarrant County on Tuesday; it jumps to 60 percent Tuesday night, according to the weather service.
