Flight of the Conchords announce tour dates and promise new music
The duo also announced earlier this month that they will perform at the Newport Folk Festival this summer in Newport, Rhode Island.
New Zealand folk comedy duo Flight of the Conchords are returning with a newly announced 30-city North American tour.
“I’m thrilled to get back on the road with over half the original band”, joked McKenzie about the upcoming tour.
The amphitheater and concert hall tour launches on June 11 at Playhouse Square’s State Theatre.

The “Flight of the Conchords sing Flight of the Conchords Tour” will be a showcase for new material for the New Zealanders, known to their parents and some friends as Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement. The Flight of the Conchords haven’t released an album since 2009’s I Told You I Was Freaky.
The Conchords will also partner with the charity organization Global Citizen to raise awareness of extreme poverty around the world.
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 4 at 10 a.m. Seats in the the Jay Pritzker Pavilion will run between $55 and $45, while lawn seats will be $25.
