Floyd Mayweather attends Knicks D-League game
Armen and Levack asked Fredette if he ever seriously considered going overseas to play in Europe, and we found out who the best players Jimmer ever played against in the Capital Region were.
Fredette joined Westchester after being cut by the San Antonio Spurs in training camp.
So, Floyd Mayweather sat courtside Monday at a Knicks game in order to watch Jordon Crawford.
That moment when @FloydMayweather is just chilling at a #DubKnicks game, munching on some popcorn…
Last night I watched the Westchester Knicks – a D-League affiliate to my favorite National Basketball Association team – face the Grand Rapids Drive. But Mayweather still made the trip via jet, according to New York Knicks beat writer, Ian Begley.
Dark horse theory here: Mayweather somehow found a way to bet a kajillion dollars on Fredette’s scoring total, and realized Westchester County Center was an intimate enough space that he could directly influence that performance. Yes, I’m as surprised as you are. “I think Philadelphia and the Lakers should take a look at Jordon Crawford”, Mayweather said.
Fredette ended up with a game-high 37 points on 12-for-17 shooting in Westchester’s win over the Grand Rapids Drive.
